If you said YES!, then the Playtime Sitters Nanny Prep Program is calling your name! This is your chance to take your childcare skills to the next level with training, mentorship, and real experience that will get you ready for long-term nanny roles.
What you’ll do
Show up on time, ready to shine
Be playful, patient, and professional with every family
Assist with daily routines like play, snack time, and cleanup
Keep kids engaged with fun activities (no endless screen time here!)
Communicate clearly with parents and follow their guidelines
Be the extra set of hands families can rely on
Learn, grow, and have fun while doing it
requirements
Ages 18–21
At least 1–2 years of childcare experience (paid or volunteer)
Work at weddings, parties, and special events
Positive attitude and team player mindset
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
Able to pass background and reference checks
Commit to at least 6 months with a family

Earn your Nanny Prep Certified Badge 🏅 and boost your resume while gaining hands-on mentorship and training to grow into a Pro Nanny. You’ll be eligible for part-time and backup nanny roles, receive priority consideration for long-term placements at 21+, and have access to letters of recommendation and reference support. With flexible opportunities like weekend jobs and backup care, you’ll climb the career ladder from Sitter → Nanny Prep → Pro Nanny 🚀.
SCHEDULE
Most jobs happen Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, plus part-time weekday opportunities. Flexible and family-friendly!
LOCATION
Nanny PrEP Team members can help at in-home care opportunities plus at a variety of events, including family events and parent workshops, religious events, galas, dinners, and community gatherings where children need a safe and fun space to play and learn.
