Fun Sitter Agreement

The Sitter understands that Playtime Event Sitters acts only as their agent to assist them in finding Fun Sitter opportunities. Playtime Event Sitters does not charge a fee to applicants for employment, and is not considered a direct employer. The Fun Sitter understands they are considered a contractor of Playtime Event Sitters.

The Fun Sitter provides consent for Playtime Event Sitters to run a Background & Reference check.

The Fun Sitter understands they must obtain Infant & Child CPR/First Aid Certification within the first 3 events if not currently certified.

The Fun Sitter understands they must be authorized to work in the US to be considered to work at events.

The Fun Sitter understands they will be provided with a Playtime Event Sitters' T-shirt to wear at events. The Sitter understands there will be a $10 fee if the shirt is not returned at the end of the event.

The Fun Sitter understands they are paid typically 1 week post event via direct deposit. A Playtime Events Sitter representative will contact them after their first event, to set up their payment profile.

The Fun Sitter understands through IRS regulations if they make more than $600 in a calendar year, the Fun Sitter will be responsible for his/her own federal, state and other applicable taxes.

I, the undersigned consent to having my photograph and recording/video taken on behalf of Playtime Event Sitters and published. I understand that the images and recording/video may be used in Playtime Event Sitters' print advertisements, online advertisements, presentations, website and social media platforms.

The Fun Sitter agrees to keep all information about all clients confidential. Any disclosure of any information regarding a client which in any way contributes to the client being approached for a position by a third person will result in the Fun Sitter being responsible to Playtime Event Sitters for all applicable fees and costs set forth under the terms of this agreement. Additionally, the Fun Sitter's disclosure could subject the Fun Sitter to damages related to the invasion of client's privacy.

The Fun Sitter agrees to fully indemnify, release, discharge and hold harmless Playtime Event Sitters, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, advertisers, partners, contractors and its successors from any and all claims, actions, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses for investigation or attorney’s fees arising out of, or in any way related to, this Agreement, including any personal injury or property damage whether such liabilities, claims or demands arise out of the negligent acts of Playtime Event Sitters or from some other cause. If Playtime Event Sitters, LLC is named as a defendant in a lawsuit involving the Fun Sitter, the Client or any other person, arising out of the Fun Sitter’s or the Client’s negligence, malfeasance, nonfeasance or willful misconduct, the Fun Sitter agrees to indemnify Playtime Event Sitters and pay all of Playtime Event Sitters costs and attorney’s fees.

As a Fun Sitter, Fun Specialist or any other role with Playtime Event Sitters, you agree to report ALL phone calls, communications and jobs that have been offered by any of Playtime Event Sitters’ clients, or it's client's friends, neighbors, relatives and associates. This includes all people you met who you would not have met if you were not affiliated with Playtime Event Sitters. You agree not to be employed by any of the above mentioned people unless you have obtained written authorization to do so from Playtime Event Sitters directly. You understand that the above mentioned people may be obligated to pay a fee to Playtime Event Sitters in order to employ you and that it is your responsibility to check with Playtime Event Sitters to ensure their obligations have been met. You agree not to refer your friends, relatives and/or affiliates directly to the above mentioned people for employment purposes.

Throughout the duration of this agreement and for a period not to exceed 1 year following the culmination, completion or termination of this agreement you agree, you will not, in any manner, start a business or engage in a business that would be deemed similar in nature to the business of Playtime Event Sitters without the written consent of Playtime Event Sitters within a 75 mile radius of any of its locations. You agree, you will not, in any manner or form, at any time disclose, reveal, unveil, divulge or release, either directly or indirectly, any aforementioned proprietary or confidential information for personal use or for the benefit of any third party and shall at all times endeavor to protect all Confidential Information belonging to Playtime Event Sitters. Any act contrary to this non-compete clause constitutes a violation of this agreement and will result in a fine, as well as prosecution to the fullest extent of the law for “theft of services.”
