What you’ll do
Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children of all ages (including infants & toddlers!)
Follow family routines and respect parenting styles with professionalism
Create fun, developmentally appropriate activities that keep kids learning & laughing
Be the calm in the chaos by helping with meals, nap time, and transitions
Communicate openly with parents about their child’s day
Support children’s growth emotionally, socially, and cognitively
Handle light household tasks (laundry, tidying, meals for kids)
Most importantly be a trusted part of a family’s village
requirements
21+ years old
3+ years of professional childcare experience
Complete an extensive Orientation
Work at weddings, parties, and special events
Fluent in English and authorized to work in the U.S.
Reliable, resourceful, and full of positive energy
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
Able to pass background and reference checks
Respectful of diverse families and parenting approaches
Excited to commit at least 1 year with each family

SCHEDULE
Most jobs are full-time and part-time nanny placements, with a commitment of at least one year per family. Roles are flexible, with options for live-in or live-out, and there are also occasional opportunities for temporary or travel placements.
LOCATION
As a Playtime Pro, you’ll primarily work in families’ homes, providing personalized care in a warm, familiar environment. You’ll also have the chance to take on wedding and event childcare opportunities, adding variety and extra experience to your schedule.
